 ➧Selection Process: -

  • Computer Based Examination: Tier - I (Objective Type)
  • Tier - II (Descriptive Paper)

➧Tier - I Exam Pattern: -

  • The Exam Will Be Computer Based (Tier 1)

1 General Intelligence 25 (No of Questions) & 25 (Marks)
2 English Language 25 (No of Questions) &  25 (Marks)
3 Quantitative Aptitude (Basic Arithmetic Skill) &  25 (No of Questions)
4 General Awareness 25 (No of Questions) &  25 (Marks)

➧Written Examination: -

  • The questions will be set both in English & Hindi for Section 1, 2,3 & 4.
  • There will be negative points of 0.25 marks.
  • Total Duration for this exam is 01:30 Hours (90 minutes).

➧Test Syllabus: SSC Syllabus is as per the following:-

1. English Language: Candidates' understanding of the Basics of English Language,its vocabulary, grammar,sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms and its correct use, etc. and writing ability will be tested.

2. General Intelligence and Reasoning:- It would include questions of non-verbal type The test will include Questions and differences visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation,relationship concepts, figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series etc. The test will also include questions to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationship, arithmetical computation and other analytical functions

 3. Numerical Aptitude:- This paper will include questions on Problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationships between numbers, fundamental arithmetical operations,Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, use of Tables and Graphs, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc.

4. General awareness:- questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidate environment around him and his application to society Knowledge of current events and such issues of everyday observation experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected an educated person The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries pertaining to Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic scene, General Polity including Indian Constitution, and Scientific Research etc. These questions Will not be a special study of any discipline.

➧Level - II Descriptive Test Pattern:-The Exam Pattern of Tier II Descriptive Test is as Provided Below:-

  • Engaging test will of Total 50 Marks Engaging Test will be taken in Pen and Paper Mode.
  • Short Essay / Letter in English or in any language included in the 8th schedule of the Constitution.
